Our Mission

Hush Meditation and Yoga Studio offers several different styles of instructor-led meditation classes and gentle yoga classes in Norman, OK. Our mission is to provide a welcoming and safe space for our community; a place of respite from the stress and uncertainty of the world. Along with access to all classes, we also provide our members access to the studio to drop in, as their schedule allows, to meditate silently or with guided meditations via digital audio players. We understand that your home may not offer the peace and stillness you are needing and that life gets super busy with tasks and responsibilities possibly making our class times not conducive to your schedule. Therefore, we make our space available to you by allowing you access to the studio to rest and take a moment of stillness whenever you can squeeze it into your day! We envision our studio to be a place of physical and mental rest from the stressors of daily life. We strive to provide our community with a place of peace and stillness that they can retreat to, if even for 15 minutes a day.

We desire to provide a safe space for people of all abilities and experience levels to practice and enjoy yoga. We deeply believe that yoga is for everyone and every body. Our instructors are educated in accessible yoga and trauma sensitive yoga to help provide a safer and more accommodating experience for everyone.

our classes

Our meditation classes vary between 30 minutes to 60 minutes and are open to all levels of experience. Our gentle yoga classes are specially created to ensure that everyone can participate in yoga. We want everyone who has a desire to practice meditation and/or yoga to feel comfortable and empowered in doing so, whether you are a complete beginner, living with an illness or disability, or feel as though you don’t fit the “ideal image”, our classes will accommodate you at your specific level!
